            The Amazing Silver Bullet History

The Silver Bullet, a Agco-Allis 6195 with a 3208 CAT engine had a reputation of being a powerful tractor in its original design. However, to win championships, we had to push everything to the limit and that’s what we did. We undertook the project of building the world’s most powerful CAT. We did this by converting the CAT to run on alcohol and replacing the injectors with spark plugs (to ignite the alcohol). We were able to take this 250 horsepower engine to the limits of 3000hp. However, we couldn’t keep the main engine bearings in it for more than 4 passes down the track. We tried every oil we could think of to correct this situation without success, until a Cen-Pe-Co Sales Rep called on us and convinced us to try his Cen-Pe-Co oil (a product we had never heard of). After making the switch to Cen-Pe-Co, we found that we were able to go from 4 passes to over 80 passes without any bearing problems. In fact with Cen-Pe-Co Lubricants all the internal engine components are in better shape than before.

Since switching to Cen-Pe-Co Lubricants, we have won nine National Championship titles, three runner-up’s, and a World Title over the last thirteen years. However, none of this would have happened if we hadn’t seen remarkable results with Cen-Pe-Co.

Since that time we have met thousands of Cen-Pe-Co customers who are very happy with their products. All seem to share the same story of reduced wear and longer equipment life.
